Relationship between family intimacy and social anxiety among university students：mediating role of psychological resilience

【Abstract】ObjectiveTo explore therelationship between family intimacyand socialanxiety of college studentsand verify whether psychological resiliencepartially plays amediating role betweenthem.MethodsWith the method of convenient sampling，a questionnaire survey was conducted among 40O collge students in Liaocheng University，whereFamily Intimacy Scale，AdolescentResilience Scaleand AdolescentSocial Anxiety Scale were used. Results ① Family intimacy was negatively correlated with social anxiety （r=-0.628 P<0.01 ），andanegative correlation was observed between psychological resilience and social anxiety among college students （r=-0.550 P <0.01）. ② Psychological resilience partially mediated family intimacy and social anxiety among college students. ConclusionFamily intimacy hasasignificant impact oncollege students'social anxiety，and itcanalsoaffect college students' social anxiety through psychological resilience.
