【Abstract】 ObjectiveTo explore the current situation of mindfulness of middle and upper elementary school students,and toputforward corresponding suggestionsand countermeasures to improve their mindfulness. Methods With the Children and Adolescents Mindfulness Scale,a survey was randomly conducted on 315 fourth andfth grade students fromthreerural primaryschools in Hebei Province.Theobtained data were analyzed by independent sample t -tests and one-way ANOVA on SPSS 26.0.ResultsThere was a significant difference in the total score of mindfulness among different grades (P=0.049 ).Themindfulnessof fifth gradewashigher thanthatof the fourth grade.There was alsoa significant diffrence in the perception and non judgment dimensions ( P =0.03),of whichthefifthgradewashigherthanthoseofthefourthgrade.Therewasasignificantdiferenceinthetotalscore of mindfulness among different genders ( P 0.02),of which females were higher than that of males.There was an significant diffrence between male and female students inthe dimensions of perception and non judgment ( P =0.007), of whichfemales were higher than thatof males.Conclusion Based on the current situationof mindfulness,we should carryout mindfulness education thatis in line with the physical and mental development characteristics of students inrural middle and senior primary schools,so as to further improve their mindfulness level,and comprehensively enhance their mental health.
