Introduction of WANG Chen's Clinical Experience in Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment of Proteinuria Caused by Dampness in Chronic Kidney Disease

Abstract：This article introduces Professor WANG Chen's clinical experience in syndrome diferentiation and treatment of proteinuriacaused by dampness in chronic kidney disease（CKD）.Profesor WANG contends to delay CKD progression should prioritize the control of proteinuria，which is closely assciated with dampness，heat， deficiency，and blood stasis.Withdampnessbeing the root，heemphasizes the treatment principle "dampnessretention with intractable proteinuria"and particularlytheclinicalapplicationof dampness-eliminating therapy for proteinuria in CKD.Professor WANG has systematically summarized eight dampness-resolving methods，i.e.，invigorating spleen to resolve dampness，clearing heattodraindampness，activating blood circulationto promoteurination，dispelling wind toeliminate dampness，warming yang to resolve fluid retention，elevating yang toresolve dampness，promoting urination to percolatedampness，and eliminating dampnesswith aromatics.These methods are flexibly applied in clinical practice according to various pathogenesis based on syndrome differentiation.
