Abstract：Zanthoxyli Pericarpium is a traditional dual-purpose medicinal and edible herb that has been used in health and wellness applications in China forover 2 OOO years.However，inrecent years，itsuse has been primarily limited to foodand seasoning，leading toanarow range of productsand hindering the developmentof the Zanthoxyli Pericarpium industry.This paperaims to examine the historical health and wellnessfunctions and applications of Zanthoxyli Pericarpium，wellness，andto broaden itsaplications inthis field，therebysupporting the developmentof the Zanthoxyli Pericarpium industry.
