Exploration of YANG Shudong's Experience of Supplementing Kidney and Dispelling Pathogen Therapy in Treating Chronic Kidney Disease

Abstract：From years of clinical experience，Profesor YANG Shudong hasconcluded that the main pathogenesis of chronic kidney disease（CKD）is kidney deficiency.Thiscondition is furthercomplicated bythe patient'sunhealthy lifestyle，living environment，and dietary habits，which can lead toendogenous water-dampness，phlegmand fluid， static blood and turbid toxins etc.，thereby exacerbating kidney damage.In terms of treatment，Profesor YANG Shudonggenerallyadopts the therapeuticprinciple of supplementing kidneyand dispeling pathogen（including supplementing kidneyyang，nourishing kidneyyin，benefiting kidneyqi，activating kidney blod，facilitating kidney water，and lowering turbid toxins）.He has formulated his own prescription for this purpose，namely Bushen Quxie Formula.In clinical practice，this formula，when modified according to individual patient needs，has been found tobe effective in treating CKD.
