Introduction of PENG Xuming's Clinical Experience in Treating Heel Pain Based on Three-Phase Theory of Tendon-Meridian-Zang Organ

Abstract：This article introduces Profesor PENG Xuming's clinical experience in treating heel pain using the three-phasetheory of tendon-meridian-zang organ.Rooted intheclassical Chinese medicine concept that“alldiseases begin with the pathogenic factors invade theskin and hairthen invade the meridians，and if lingering，they eventuallytransmit to thefuorgan，”ProfessorPENG Xuming clasifies thepathologicalprogressionof helpain into three phases：tendon constriction phase，meridian-vessel impediment andobstruction phase，and zang organ impediment phase.He also formulated the three treatments of relaxing tendonsand dissipating mass，eliminating pathogens and unblocking the meridians，and norishing liver and kidney.This phased approach，tailored to disease progression，demonstrates significant clinical efficacy.
