Introduction to ZHANG Yuzhen's Experience in Adopting the Methods of Activating Blood and Resolving Stasis for Miscarriage Prevention

Abstract：This article is to introduce Professor ZHANG Yuzhen's clinical experience in applying the methods of activating bloodandresolving stasis formiscariage prevention.Adhering tothe treatmentprincipleof“Treatingdisease during pregnancydoes not harmthefetus”，Professor ZHANG Yuzhen employs the conventional method of tonifying the kidneyand strengthening the spleen and the modified methodofactivating bloodandresolving stasis.Thekeydiagnostic criteriaincludeprolongedvaginal bleeding withdark cofee-colored clots，accompanied bya pale-dark tongue with ecchymosis orpetechiae.By integrating disease-syndrome diferentiation，she applies the miscariage prevention method of activating bloodand resolving stasis，and emphasizes calming the mind precedes securing the fetus，and regulatingemotions tocounteract emotional imbalances，which consistentlyachieves remarkable clinicaloutcomes.
