Introduction to HONG Minli's Experience in Treating Chronic Cough

Abstract：This article introduces Professor HONG Minli's clinical experience in treating chronic cough.Professor HONG Minli believes that deficiency of healthy qiand spleen-stomach deficiencyare the fundamental causes of recurrent chronic cough，whilewind-cold lingering in the lung，pathogenic factors stagnating in the Shaoyang， phlegm-fluid retention，and damp-heat accumulation in the lungare the main pathogenic mechanisms of chroniccough. Inclinicalpractice，treatmentis administered basedonsyndrome diferentiation，focusingonreinforcing healthyqiand releasingtheexterior，harmonizing the Shaoyang，warmingand disolving phlegm-fluid，clearinganddraining dampheat，and regulating and tonifying the spleen and stomach.
