Abstract：To summarize and introduce Profesor JI Yunxi's clinical experience in treating xerostomia with internal retentionof phlegm and fluid type by warming and removing，raising，resolving and moistening therapy.Xerostomia is embodiedbyreducedfluidand humor inmouth and asense of dryand belongs to thecategoryof dryimpediment in Chinese medicine.Profesor JI Yunxi's clinical experience shows that when the main complaint is dry mouth，less patients arewith exuberant heat and fluid depletionand insteadmorewith internal retentionof phlegm and fluid. Professor JIYunxi believes thatthecore pathogenesisof xerostomia caused by internalretentionof phlegmandfluid lies inthe rootcause of yang deficiencyand branchcauseoffluid stagnation and he puts forward thefour methods of warming and removing，raising，resolving and moistening.Themodified Wuling Powder and Erchen Decoctionas the basic prescription isoften used for warmingandremoving，self-formulated Shengjin SiweiDecoction is adopted flexibly for raising，thecombination useof Wuling Powderand medicines for mild infiltrationand diuresis is for resolving，and moistening isusuallyachieved bymild medicines forengendering fluid tomitigate acutedryness.The treatment by syndrome differentiationin clinical can render a good curative effect.
