Evaluation of uncertainty in determination of carbon and hydrogen content in coal

Abstract:Evaluating the uncertaintyof measurementofcarbon,hydrogen content incoalcould improvetheaccuracyof data ofcarbon,hydrogencontentdeterminedbylaboratoryandimprovethecorresponding technicallevelof laboratorytesting. LECO CHN628 wasused to determinecarbonand hydrogencontent incoal.The sources of uncertainty were analyzed. The mathematical model of the uncertaintycomponent were established.The uncertaintycomponents such as repetitionof determination,sample weighing,reagent purityand Linearityin curve calibration were discussd.The combinedstandard uncertainty and extended uncertainty of the carbon, hydrogen content in coal sample were calculated.
