Analysis of the therapeutic eficacy of ultrasound-guided subacromial bursa injection in treating hemiplegic shoulder pain*

[Abstract]Objective：Toexploretheefectofultrasound-guidedsubacromialbursainjectionintreating hemiplegichoulder pain.Methods：This study enrolld40 eligible patients with post-stroke hemiplegicshoulder pain who received clinical managementattheRehabilitation Medicine DepartmentofAfliated Hospitalof Nantong University betweenOctober2O2Oand October 024.Participants wererandomizelydivided into two groups，20patients each group.Thecontrol groupreceivedconventionalrehabilitationtherapy，whiletheobservationgroupunderwentadditionalultrasound-guidedsubacromialbursanjectionofanti-inflammatoryanalgesicsolution.EficacywasevaluatedusingtheVAS，passiverangeof motion（PROM），FuglMeyer assessment（FMA），andmodified Barthel index（MBI） beforeand posttreatment.Results：Baselinedata，includingage anddiseaseduration，showednosignificantdiferencesbetwenthetwogroups（P>005）.Post-treatment，thebservationgroup demonstratedsignificantlybeteroutcomesinVAS，PROM，FMA，andMBIcomparedwiththecontrolgroup（all P<0.05 ）. Conclusion：Ultrasound-guidedsubacromialbursainjectionalleviateshemiplegicshoulderpainbypreciselytargetingtheinjection site，inhibitinglocalinflammatorymediatoreleaseandrelievingpainefectively.Thisapproachofersanovelclinicalpathway for comprehensive management of hemiplegic shoulder pain.
