Optimization Scheme of Chengdu Metro Line 5 Vehicle Online Monitoring System with Proactive Alert Capabilities

Abstract:With the rapid development of urban rail transit,online monitoring systems for metro vehicles have become essential tools for maintenance personnel. These systems enable remote real-time monitoring of train conditions,facilitating quick response to in-servicefailures and significantly enhancing operational safety. This paper provides a concise overview of the application status of the online monitoring system for Chengdu Metro Line 5 vehicles,analyzes current shortcomings in such systems,and addresses the need for eficient and rapid fault resolution under Chengdu’s large-scale metro network operations. By thoroughly examining and analyzing key variables in the vehicle monitoring system,an optimized proactive alert-based monitoring solution is proposed.The system establishes early warning models to detect anomalies such as excessive passenger compartment temperatures and abnormal status indicator lights, significantly improving maintenance crews’response eficiency to train abnormalities. After feasibility analysis and testing,the system has been deployed,serving as a reference for further enhancements and future line applications.
