Abstract:To address the limitations of conventional hot metal transfer processes,including operational complexity,high energy consumption,and significant temperature losses,this study developed a novel 110- ton hotmetal torpedo car featuring innovativedirect ladle-to-ladle.This hot metal torpedocar incorporates the following innovative features:First,the integration of a insulated cover system,combined with automated ground-based power supply,achieves exceptional thermal retention;secondly,the adoption of a high-capacity monolithic design reduces operational steps. Through structural optimization,the hot metal torpedo car significantly improves transportation efficiency,reduces energy consumption,and improves the work environment. This paper elaborates on the technical features of the110-ton hot metal torpedo car.In terms of structural design,the car body and bogie frame underwent static strength testing,withall critical parameters—including maximum measured stress,fatigue strength,and deflection-to-span ratio of body stiffness-meting standard requirements;In terms of operational performance,the dynamic test shows that there is no continuous oscilltory waveforms observed in lateral vibration acceleration under both empty and loaded conditions,the lateral stability meets the standard,and the maximum lateraland vertical vibration accelerations of the car body meet therequirements of the specification.Field applications havedemonstrated thatthis hot metal torpedo car delivers significant improvements in transport eficiency and operational cost reduction,providing China’s steel industry with a high-performance,environmentallysustainable hot metal

铁水物流“一罐到底”是近年来钢铁行业出现的一种全新的铁钢界面工艺技术,其核心是将高炉受铁罐和炼钢脱硫罐合二为一,用同一个铁水罐完成铁水的受铁、运输、脱硫和兑铁等作业,避免了二次折罐,有效减少了铁水温降[1-3]。(剩余7990字)
