Talent Cultivation Model Reform in Colleges and Universities in the Context of Emerging Engineering Education

Abstract： In the emerging engineering education， talent cultivation model reform exhibits innovation，uncertainty，and complexity. Blind implementation risks counter-productivity. Therefore，colleges and universities must forge innovative pathways through conceptual innovation，interdisciplinary knowledge integration，and technological empowerment to enhance precision.Developing forward strategies addressing weak top-level design，diluted knowledge value，diminished disciplinary distinctiveness，and organizational delays enables targeted problem-resolution， providing clear theoretical guidance for the reform. Ultimately， high-quality reform propels talent cultivation quality-efficiency improvements， sustaining China’s industrial system at globally advanced levels via premium talent supply.
