Benevolence in Education: Centrality, Objective, Requirements, and Realm

Abstract:Benevolence in education,central to the spirit of educators, serves as its prerequisite, driving force,and enduring guarantee. Its paramount objective—fostering virtue and cultivating talents for the Party and nation—manifests through functions of motivation,transformative influence,regulation,and exemplary role-modeling, guiding students toward moral excellence. This benevolence demonstrates the effects of“grand love establishing virtue”,“grand love promoting virtue”,and“grand love nurturing virtue”,reflecting the value orientation of cultivating wel-rounded newcomers with a virtuefirst approach. The highest requirement,student-centered devotion to teaching and learners,necessitates addressing ten key relationships. Its ultimate realm lies in willing dedication, encompassing dedication in willingness,capability,and diligence.
