Stress Analysis of Rotor Magnetic Steel for Vehicle-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

Abstract: Permanent magnet synchronous motors are widely used in armored equipment. Due to the special application environmentofarmoredequipment,the motorsaresubjectedtostrongvibrationand impactduringoperation,whichmaycause damageorevenfracturetotesiliconsteelsheetsofthemotorrotormagneticsteel.EspeciallyfortheInteriorPermanentMagnet Synchronous Motor (IPMsM)with high electromagneticperformance,itsrotorcoreisusuallyprovided with slotsofvarious shapes,whichhasaparticularlysignificant impactonthestressdistributionoftherotor.Thestressdistributionothesurfaceof therotormagneticsteelisdifcult toanalyze,anditishardtooptimizethestressoftherotormagneticsteeduringthedesign process.To solve this problem,this paper takes therotor magneticstel of avehicle-mounted IPMSMastheresearchobject, establishes itsequivalent magneticcircuit model,derives teanalyticalexpressionsofthe airgapunbalancedeletromagetic forceandthecentrifugalforceduringrotorotationprocessanalyzesthestressdistributionunderdifferentrotatingspedsbased on the motor finite element model,and provides ideas for the optimal design of motor stress.
