Pathways and Countermeasures for High-Quality Development of Apple Industry in Xiangning County

Abstract： As a traditional optimal apple-growing area in Shanxi Province， Xiangning County’s apple industry plays a crucial role in rural revitalization. However， facing the increasingly fierce market competition in China’s apple industry， the existing problems of Xiangning County， such as relatively single cultivar structure， insufficient brand influence， and short industrial chain， have become bottlenecks restricting its sustainable development. Based on the reality of Xiangning County’s apple industry. The production-side innovation centered on “old orchard renovation” and “introduction and transformation of new varieties and technologies”， the industrial chain extension focusing on “post-harvest preservation and diversified sales of fruits”， and the value enhancement led by “establishment of regional public brands” are systematically explored. It aims to provide theoretical references and practical paths for Xiangning County to realize the high-quality development of its apple industry and fully serve rural revitalization.
