Benefits and Cultivation Management of Seed-used Pumpkin Intercropping in Young Apple Orchards

Abstract: Intercropping seed-used summer squash in young apple orchards is conducive to the growth of apple trees, featuring high economic value, simple management, low production cost and remarkable planting benefits. In accordance with the technical principles of intercropping seed-used summer squash in young apple orchards, the cultivation and management measures for both apple trees and seed-used summer squash are introduced respectively. The research aims to popularize and apply the cultivation mode of intercropping seed-used pumpkin in fruit orchards, so as to improve soil quality, enhance tree vigor, reduce diseases and insect pests, improve fruit quality and boost agricultural production.
