[Abstract]ObjectiveTo explore the predictive value of albumin corected anion gap(ACAG)forthe prognosis of elderly patientswithdiabeticketoacidosis.MetodsAtotalofOOelderlypatientswithdiabeticketoacidosisadmitedtoSengingHospital AffiliatedtoChinaMedicalUniversityfromMay2O22toJune2O24wereselectedastheresearchsubjects.Thegender,age,body mass,height,durationofdiabetes,typeof diabetes,aniongap(AG),albumin(Alb),glycatedhemoglobin(HbAlc),fasting blood glucose(FBG),blood ketone bodies(BK),urine ketone bodies(UK),arterial blood pH value,bloodbicarbonate ( HCO3- ),and neutromidsof10Opatients werecollectedThelevelsofcells(NEU)andlymphocytes(LYM),body massindex,the ACAGand neutrophil-to-lymphocyteratio(NLR)werecalculated.Onehundred patientswerefollwedupcontinuouslyfor28days. Acording to theprognosisandsurvivalstatusofthepatients,theyweredividedintothesurvival group(7lcases)andthedeathgroup (29cases)Throughunivariateandmultivariatelogisticregresionanalyses,therisfactorsforporprognosisinelderlypatntswith diabetic ketoacdosis ere explored,andthepredictiveeficacyof ACAGforporprognosis wasevaluatedusingthereceiveroperating characteristiccurve(ROC)curve.ResultsTheresultsof univariate analysisshowedthat thelevelsof AG,ACAG,HbAlc,NEU and NLRinthe death groupwere all higher thanthoseinthe survival group( P<0.05 ),andthelevelsofAlb andLYMwerelower than those in the survival group ( P<0.05 )The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the levels of AG,ACAG, and HbAlc were risk factors for poor prognosis ( ⋅P<0.05 ),while thelevel of Alb was aprotectivefactor ( P<0.05 ) .
