Seismic Response Analysis of Steel - Concrete Hybrid Wind Power Tower under SSI Effect

Abstract:Inorder to studytheinfluenceof soil-structure interaction(SSIefect)ontheseismicresponseof steel-concrete windturbinetower,thefiniteelementmodelof‘tower-foundation-soil’wasestablishedbynumericalsimulationmethod,andthe nonlinear P-Υ spring was used to simulate the mutual contact between pile and soil to consider the SSI efect.Select7 nearfield pulse type long-period,far-field long-period,and nonlong-period earthquakerecords each.Basedonthe nonlinear characteristicsofsoil,consideringtheamplificationandfilteringefectsofsoilonseismicmotion,analyzetheseismicresponse of towerstructuresunderdiferent seismic motions whenconsidering the SSIefect.Research has foundthatthe SSIefect plays anadverseroleinthe seismic designof steel-concrete wind turbine towersandcannotbeignored.Undertheactionof longperiodseismic motion,thedynamicresponseinthefarfieldisgreaterthanthatinthenearfield.Afterconsideringthe SI effect,theacelerationreaches itsmaximumat theconcretecylindersectionnearthetransitionzne.Undertheactionof nonlong period,SSIefecthasagreatinfluenceontheinteralforceatthetransitionsection.Theresultsof thisstudycanprovide reference for theseismic design of steel-concrete wind turbine tower.
