Abstract Objective To summarize and organize the current issues in the management of "one hospital with multiplecampuses"in public hospitals,andto explore theoptimalpathways for management strategies in this context in China.MethodsData were collcted through literature review,policy analysis,stakeholder interviews,and focus group interviews.Interviewdata were analyzed based on grounded theory.ResultsThrough three levels of coding,21 initialcategories,14maincategories,and5corecategorieswereidentified.Thecorecategories includeintegrated management,homogeneous medical quality management,cost and financial management,hospitalculture management,and disciplinary layout management. Centered around thesefive corecategories,a model foroptimizing the management strategies of "one hospital with multiplecampuses" inpublic hospitalsin China was constructed.ConclusionItis recommended to strengthen integrated management acrossmultiple campuses to enhance the scientific management level of hospitals;unify medical quality management to promote homogeneous medical services across campuses; strengthen the standardization of cost acounting tocontinuously reduce operational costs across multiplecampuses;create aunified culturallandscapetofacilitateculturalintegrationacrossdiferenthospitalcampuses;andsientificallplandisciplinarylay outs to achieve differentiated competition among different hospital campuses.
