Abstract Reducing the input of white blood cells is crucial for preventing adverse reactions to blood transfusion. The useof the Leukocyte DepletionFilter（LDF）forfiltration isan eficienttechnique for removing white blood cels from blood products.In China，theclinical applicationof leukocytedepletion technologybasedon LDFis not yet widespread.To provide scientific guidance fortherationaluseof leukocyte一depleted bloodin China，basedon systematic literature retrieval and evidence一based medicine methods，the Delphi expert consensus method was employed to form expert recommendations regarding the applicable population，personnel qualifications and environmental facilities，timing of use，qualitycontrol，and managementofLDFleukocyte depletion.It is pointedout that medical institutions should selectivelyimplement leukocyte depletion technology for certain target populations based on localeconomic levels，blood transfusion service capabilities，and the disease spectrum of service recipients.Regions or medical institutions with high economic levels and strong blood transfusion service capabilities areencouraged to widely implement leukocyte depletion technology.Thisconsensus canprovide guidane and reference for the clinical applicationofleukocyte depletion technology in blood transfusion therapy， ensuring the safety of clinical blood use.
