Abstract The Implementation Specification for Health Technology Assessment of Traditional Chinese Medicine （T/CACM 1621—2024）was proposed bythe Instituteof Basic Research in Clinical Medicine，China Academyof Chinese Medical Sciences，and was initiated，reviewed，and issued bythe China AssociationofChinese Medicine.Itrepresentsan inovative research achievement in theapplicationof Health Technology Assessment（HTA）within the fieldof traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）.This paper focuses on interpreting the usage methods and data sources of the seven一dimensional asessment indicatorsoutlinedinthe specification，including technicalcharacteristics，safety，efectiveness，- conomic efficiency，ethical equity，organizational adaptabity，and patientand societal.Aditionall，itanalyzes three HTA cases applying this specification： Shaoma Zhijing Granules，acupuncture，TCM enema and（or） acupoint aplication.Theaim is topromote thediseminationandapplicationof thisspecificationandfurther advance the institutionalization process of HTA in TCM.
