Abstract：ObjectiveToevaluatethequalitystatusof12batchsofPoecilobdellamanilensis medicinal materialssoldinGuangxi. MethodsToefectivelyidentifPoecilobdellmanilensisndotherleechspecies，weusedmolecularidentificationmethodofspecific primersamplificatinofPoecilobdellmanillensishirudingne（HM2）Weusedntithrombinactivityssaytovauatethecontenof hirudin.ResultsAcordingtotheHM2genespecificprimerPCRidenification，9batchesofleecheswereidentifidasPocilobdella manilensis in1batchesofleechessoldinthemarket.Amongthe9batcesofPoecilobdellamanillesis，terewasnsignificant diferenceinthecontentofhirudinpurchasedfromthemedicinalmateralmarket，butthecontentof hirudinpurchasedfrombiological companywassignificantlyhigherthanthatofotherbatchesof medicinalmaterials.ConclusionInthisstudy，itisconcludedthatthe authentic rate of Poecilobdella manillensis sold in Guangxi is 75% bymolecular identification. The qualityuniformity ofPoecilobdella manilensisoldinGuangxiisgh，buttecontentofhrudinisgeneralllow.Tereisanurgentneedtoestablishqualitystandards for the production of Poecilobdella manillensismedicinal material.
