“凡将用针，必先诊脉”思想探析

Abstract：Ling Shu·Nine Needles and Twelve Origins states that“when using nedles，one must first examinethe pulse”，and thatthepulseistheresidenceofbloodandqi，andbloodandqiareusedbythepulse.Pulsediagnosisisthemostdirectandoplete methodtoreflecteiseadfallofblodgasndthelcationofevilqiTispaperdisussthedevelopmentandconnectionetween pulsediagnosis，bloodveselsandmeridians，andthenelaborates therelevantopinionsofacupunctureoregulatingbloodveselsaccordingtothethoughtof“acupunctureacording tothepulse”.Finally，itsummarizestheprincipleofacupuncturetreatmentof “regulating bloodandqitosumup”．Pulsediagnosisisdirectlyrelatedtoqi，bloodandmeridians.Themeridianscancaryqiand blood，andqiandbloodcanenrichthe meridians.Pulsediagnosiscandiagnosethe“qiandblood”conditionofpeople.Ifthedoctor doesnotknowthepulse，hewillneedleatanypoint，whichislikelytoleadtochronicdiseasescausedbyrongneedes.Terefore， heshoulddiagnosethepulsebeforetheneede，measure thebloodandqi，andusetheneedeafterthepulsetoregulatetheblodnd qi to guide clinical acupuncture treatment.
