Clinical Efficacy of Self-formulated Yiqi Yangxue Runchang Recipe Combined with Colon Hydrotherapy in the Treatment of Functional Constipation/HUANG Kuanzhong， HE Ziyang， FANG Lijuan.//Medical Innovationof China，2025，22（18）： 032-035

[Abstract] Objective： To analyze the effect of the Self-formulated Yiqi Yangxue Runchang Recipe combined withcolon hydrotherapy inthe treatmentoffunctional constipation.Method：Atotalof 2O3 patients with functionalconstipationadmitedto Jingdezhen Hospitalof Traditional Chinese Medicinefrom Januaryto December 2022 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into the conventional treatment group （ n =102） and the combined treatment group （n=1O1）.The conventional treatment group was given colon hydrotherapy，while the combined treatment group was treated with a Self-formulated Yiqi Yangxue Runchang Recipe on the basis of the conventional treatment group.The clinical eficacy，symptom scores，qualityof lifeandrecurrence effectsofthe two groups were compared.Result： After the treatment，the symptom scores of defecation difficulty，fecal nature， incompletedefecationsensationanddefecation frequencyinboth groups were lower thanthosebefore the treatment， and those in the combined treatment group were lower than those in the conventional treatment group （ P <0.05）. Thetotalclinical efectiverateof thecombinedtreatment groupwashigherthanthatoftheconventional treatment group （ P <0.05）.After the treatment，the gastrointestinal quality of life index （GIQLI） scores of both groups were higher than those before the treatment，and that inthe combined treatment group was higher than that in the conventional treatment group （ P <0.05）.One year after the treatment， the recuirence rate in the combined treatment group was lower than that in the conventional treatment group，the diffrence was statistically significant （ P <0.05）.

Conclusion： The Self-formulated Yiqi Yangxue Runchang Recipecombined with colon hydrotherapy for functional constipation can significantly relieve the symptoms of constipation，reduce the recurrence rate and improve the quality of life of patients.
