[Abstract]Objective：To investigate the efficacy of Potassium Sodium Citrate Granules combined with microchannel percutaneous nephrolithotomy （mPCNL） inthe treatment of elderly kidney stones.Method： A total of 102 elderly patients with kidney stones treated inSongzi People's Hospital from January 2O22to January 2024 were selected and randomly divided into acontrol group （mPCNL） and a study group （Potassium Sodium Citrate Granules combined with mPCNL），with 51 cases ineach group.The stone clearancerate，renal function，inflammatory factors， and stone recurrence rate were compared between the two groups.Result： One month after surgery，the stone clearance rate in the study group was higher than that in the control group （ P <0.05）; after a one-year follow-up，the recurrence rate in the study group was lower than that in the control group （P<0.05） .7 daysafter surgery，the levels of bloodureanitrogen（BUN），reatinie（Cr），cystatinC（CysC），interleukin-13（IL13），interleukin-6（IL-6）andCractive protein （CRP） in the study group were lower than those in the control group （ P<0.05 ）. Conclusion： The combination of Potassium Sodium Citrate Granules and mPCNL in the treatment of elderly kidney stones can improve stone clearance rate， reduce renal function damage，lower inflammatory factors and recurrence rate.
