Effect of Nursing Intervention Based on Positive Reinforcement Theory on Joint Range of Motion and Subjective Pain Perception in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis/LENG Xiufang.//Medical Innovation of China， 2025， 22（12）： 098-102
[Abstract]Objective： To explore the effects of nursing intervention based on positive reinforcement theory on jointrange of motionand subjective pain perception in patients withrheumatoid arthritis （RA）.Method： Atotal of 200 patients with RA treated in Zunyi First People's Hospital from December 2023 to September 2024 were selected and divided into two groups according to random number tablemethod， with100 patients in each group.The control group received routine nursing intervention，and theobservation group received nursing intervention based on positive reinforcement theoryAfter 2months of continuous intervention， joint rangeof motion， subjective pain perception， disease activity and quality of life between the two groups were compared.Result：After intervention， joint range of motion （ROM）， visual analogue scale （VAS）scores and disease activity score 28 （DAS28） scores in both groups were lower than those before intervention， and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group， the differences were statistically significant （ P <0.05）. After intervention， the scores of the World Health Organization quality of life scale （WHOQOL-BREF）in both groups were higher than those before intrvention，andthose intheobservation group werehigher than those inthe control group，the diferences were statistically significant （ P <0.05）. Conclusion： Nursing intervention based on positive reinforcement theory for RA patients can effectively improve joint range of motion， reduce joint pain and improve quality of life.
