[Abstract]Objective： To analyze the pathogenic bacteria and influencing factors of puerperal infection after cesarean section.Method： Clinical data of 658 patients with cesarean section treated in Meishan People's Hospital from May 2022 to October 2023 were selected.According to whether postpartum infection occurred after cesarean section，they were divided into infected group （n=3）and non-infected group （ n =625）.The pathogenic bacteria and influencing factors of puerperal infection after cesarean section were analyzed.Result： Among 658 patients with cesarean section， 33 cases were infected with puerperal infection after cesarean section， with an incidence of 5.02% . The statistical analysis of pathogenic bacteria was mainly Gram-negative bacteria.Multifactor analysis showed that postpartum hemorhage， premature rupture of fetal membrane， hemoglobin <90g/L ， prenatal reproductive tract infection， high serum procalcitonin （PCT） level， and complicated diseases during pregnancy were risk factors for puerperal infection after cesarean section （ P <0.05）. Conclusion： The incidence of puerperal infection after cesarean section is high， and the main pathogens are Gram-negative bacteria. Postpartum hemorrhage， premature rupture of fetal membrane， hemoglobin <90g/L prenatalreproductive tract infection，serum PCTlevel， and complications during pregnancy are high-risk factors for puerperal infection after cesarean section. Clinical prevention andresponse measures should beformulated to reduce the occurrence of puerperal infection after cesarean section.
