[Abstract]Objective: To investigate the effect ESPCS intervention on the catastrophic cognition pain in patients after knee arthroplasty.Method:Atotal 60patients whounderwentknee arthroplasty in ChangzhouMedicalDistrictfromMay2021toDecember 2023 wee selected and divided into control groupand observation group according to the order admission. The control group was given routine care, andthe observation group was given ESPCS interventiononthe basis routine care. The pain catastrophizing scale (PCS), knee function scale (Lysholm score),Tampa scale for kinesiophobia (TSK) and rehabilitationtraining adherence scale were used to evaluate thetwo groups atlmonth,3months and6 months after surgery, respectively.Result:Before intervention, there were nosignificant differences in PCS score, Lysholm score, TSK score and rehabilitation training compliance score between the two groups ( P>0.05 ). At 1 month, 3 months and6monthsaftersurgery,the PCS scoreand TSKscoretheobservationgroup were significantlylowerthanthose the control group, andtheLysholm score andrehabilitation training compliance score were significantlyhigher than those the control group, the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05). Conclusion: ESPCS intervention can effectivelyreduce the pain catastrophiccognitionpatients afterkneearthroplasty, improve kneejointfunction and exercise fear, and is conducive to improving rehabilitation compliance, which has clinical promotion value.
