Abstract：ThisarticleanalyzesthetrajectoryandkeycharacteristicsofcomparativepolitcsresearchinChinafrom2OOto2024， drawingonadatasetof995articlespublishedindomesticjouralsspecialiinginpoliticalscienceandareastudies.Statisticsshow that，unlikeinteratioalcomparatiepolitisjouals，hichfocusmoreonottopicsinelectoralpolitics，nthepastforteea， Chinesecomparativepolticsesearchhasaidmoreatentiontothetypes，charactersticsanddevelopmentofpopulistpolisinthe world;Partypi；plialsfoaio；dsatecosuctohequalenttopracalssusladtoegiso tionandnatioalgovernance.Intemsofreseachtypesadmethods，comparativepolitsresearchismostlympiricalreseachinly qualiativeresearchAmongthem，regioalandcoutry-specificjournalsfocusonthedescriptionofcoutry-specificexperinces， whilecomprehensivepoliticalscienejounalspayoretentiontoboththoryandempiricalanalysis.Judgingfromtheoveadstribu tionofpublisdarticles，eyemphsiedescriptionoereplanatioHweerfrotepspeiveofdevelopenttrens，oatie researchmainlybasedonhypothesis-verification，theoreticalanalysisframework-casestudies，sekingtheoreticalexplanatiosand theoretical construction，etc.，will dominate.
