Abstract: In view ofthe problemsof water resource shortage and low eficiency in waterand energy saving,this paper presents anautomated designofa water-saving system based on the S7-12oo PLC.The system hardware mainlyconsists of S7- 1200 PLC,turbinefowsensors,ultrasonic sesors,pressure transmiters,solenoidvalves,pumppeedregulatorsandpus.The softwarecompletes thecontrolprogramdesignand HMIconfiguration throughtheTIAPortal platform.Withthe S7-1200PLC asthecontrolcore,thesystemincorporatesthePDalgorithmtoachieveprecisecontroloverfowrate,liquidlevelandpressure as wellasreal-time monitoringand inteligent regulationof water consumptionprocess,therebysatisfying the application requirements of water-saving system.
