基于语用原则的英语教材对话类语篇分析与教学建议

——以译林版初中英语教材为例

【摘  要】本文通过运用语用原则对译林版初中英语教材的部分对话类语篇进行了分析,并提出了一些建议,鼓励一线教师在教授语篇前,尽量对语篇进行科学的分析。

由一节课的拓展阅读材料所想到的文本分析的重要性:

笔者参加了本地的一次公开课,内容是八年级上册的unit4,授课教师在拓展阅读中展示这样一篇文章:

When the Americans are at home, they usually enjoy spending their free time on all kinds of DIYs (do it yourself).Maybe this is a little different from our Chinese people. When we Chinese are at home, we would like to enjoy ourselves by watching TV or receiving our friends. But American people like spending their time in doing some kind of work on their own. They believe it to be helpful and interesting…….

以上文本有严重的价值观导向的问题,尤其是第一段When the Americans are at home, they usually enjoy spending their free time on all kinds of DIYs (do it yourself). When we Chinese are at home, we would like to enjoy ourselves by watching TV or receiving our friends.这部分的内容表述有严重的自我歧视,难道只有美国人才会做DIY吗?殊不知我们中国才是世界上DIY进行的最彻底最全面的国家,我们家家户户每天都要自己做饭做菜,凡是有土壤的地方都会种上蔬菜或者鲜花,这难道不是DIY的另一种表现形式吗?授课教师由于缺乏对DIY的概念界定,片面地认为只有做出器械、手工等等才是DIY。(剩余4112字)
