Impact New Infrastructure on Transformation Upgrading Manufacturing Industry

Empirical Analysis Based on 3O Provinces in China

Abstract： Panel data from 3O Chinese provinces was analyzed using a two-way fixed effects model to examine the integration new infrastructure with the manufacturing industry. The impacts on the transformation upgrading the manufacturing sector across highend，intelligent， green dimensions were investigated. It is found that new infrastructure significantly fosters development towards high-end， intelligent， green manufacturing through the synergistic effects informational， integrated， innovative infrastructures. Notably，in the eastern western regions， where infrastructure policy support are strong， significant promotional effects new infrastructure are observed. Conversely， in central northeastern regions，where there is significant talent drain relatively underdeveloped infrastructure，an inhibition manufacturing transformation is identified.
