Method of scraper conveyor operation speed control based on digital twin technology

Abstract:The mismatch betweentheruningspeed of mining scraperconveyorandthecoalflow rateat the working face isoneofthemainreasonsforthelowoperating eficiencyof theequipmentandthewasteofenergyconsumption.Onthis basis, amethodofscraperconveyorrunningspeedcontrolbasedondigitaltwintechnologyisproposed,arunningspeedcontrol frameworkcomposedofactualscraperconveyor,digital twinmodelof scraperconveyor,twindataandspeedcontrolstrategyis designed,theworkingconditionofscraperconveyorisestablishedandresearchedbycombiningwiththebidirectionalcoal cutingprocessforcoal mining,whichcansimulatetherunning stateofseraperconveyorinrealtime.Therunning speedand variablespeed timeofthescraperconveyorcanberegulatedinteligentlyaccordingtothepredictedload,soastorealizethe intellgentcontrolof thescraperconveyor.Theexperimentalcomparisonwasconductedwiththedatacolectedfrom43101 comprehensiveminingfaceofYujialiangcoalmine.Theresultsshowthat,incomparisonwiththetraditionalfixed-speedcontrol, the method of scraperconveyor speed control basedondigitaltwin technologycanimprovetheloadingrateof scraperconveyor by 18.5% and reduce energy consumption by 10.83%
