Abstract:A methodof stripeeliminationconsidering thecalibrationof vector network analyzer(VNA)is proposed to addressthestripe phenomenon inthe measurementresultscaused byconnecting devices during the measurement process of VNA.In this method,anon-coaxialmeasurement errormodel isconstructedbasedontheprinciplesanderorcategoriesof VNA. TheML-TRLcalibrationtechnologyisusedtomeasurethereflectioncalibrationcomponentoftherormodel,andcalculatethe calibrationcoeffcient.AftercorectingtheS-parameterof themeasurementcomponent,tetime-domaingating(TDG)technology is usedto selectivelysuppressresidual periodic erors and eliminate thestripephenomena duringtheVNAmeasurementprocess. Thetestingresultsshowthataftercalibratingthe VNAmeasurementerrorusingtheproposedmethod,theobtainededge informationanddetailsoftheamplitudeandphaseimagesaresignificantlyclear,thecompletenessofthedetailsishigh,the fringe elimination effect is remarkable,and the uncertainty of the measurement results is below 0.002 6.
