The Impact of New-Quality Productive Forces on Enterprise Innovation Quality： Empirical Evidence from China's A-Share Listed Companies

Abstract：Based on data from A-share listed companies in China’s Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets from 2Oll to 2023，this study empirically examines the core role of new-quality productive forces in enhancing enterprise innovation quality，as well as the underlying mechanisms involved. The research demonstrates that enterprises with higher levels of new-quality productive forces are more effective at integrating internal and external resources，thereby improving innovation quality. Internal control plays a significant moderating role in this process： the higher the quality of internal control，the stronger the positive impact of new-quality productive forces on innovation quality. Furthermore，the effect of new-quality productive forces on innovation quality varies significantly by region and ownership type.Enterprises located in eastern， northeastern， and central China，as wel as non-state-owned enterprises，exhibit more pronounced improvements in innovation quality driven by new-quality productive forces.This study provides important insights for enhancing innovation quality and enterprise competitiveness，contributes to the development of new-quality productive forces，and supports China's high-quality economic development.
