Abstract：Theretirementwaveofblockchaincomputingequipmentisnotonlyaninevitableproductoftechnologyiteration，but alsoprovidesastrategicopportunitytobuildasustainablecomputingpowerecosystem.Bysystematicallanalyzingthefeasibility ofretiredBlockchainComputingDevices（BCDs）inthedimensionsoftechnicalreconstruction，economicvalueandenviromental benefit，thispaperrevealstheirpotentialvalueasheterogeneouscomputingpowerresources：Throughhardwaretransformatinand softwareadaptation，decommisionedequipmentcanbetransformedintoedgecomputingnodes，distributedstorageunitsand researchcomputing powercarrers，whichcanreduceelectronicwastepolltionwhilemeting thecomputing powerrequirementsof emerging artificial intelligence scenarios such as large model inference.
