磁致旋光效应实验的改进

摘 要 针对目前高校开设的磁致旋光效应实验中存在的不足,将相关实验公式进一步推导,得到同种旋光玻璃的费尔德常数和入射光波波长的数学关系,并将其扩充到实验中,使得该实验项目在内容设计上更加饱满、严谨和完善。

Improvement of Experiment of Magneto-Optical Rotation Effect

Abstract In view of the shortcomings in the experimental project of magneto-optical rotation effect in universities, their relevant theories are further deduced to obtain the mathematical relationship between Verdet constant and incident light wavelength of the same kind of optical rotation glass. The corresponding content can be extended to the experi-ment, which not only makes the experimental project more full, rigorous and perfect, but also further promotes students’ thinking.

法拉第在探索电、磁、光之间的联系时,发现当一束线偏振光穿过具有固有磁矩的介质时,如果在光的传播方向上加上磁场,那么出射光的偏振面将转过一个角θ,这种现象被称为法拉第效应或磁致旋光效应[1-2]。(剩余1935字)
