[Abstract]ThispapersummarizesProfessor ZHOUYabin's clinical experiencein treating thechronicphaseof viral myocarditis （VMC）withthemethodofactivatingyanganddispellingturbidity.VMCisconsideredapatteminducedby exogenouspathogenictoxinsblockingyangqi，which leadstoadisorderedqiactivityandyin-yangimbalance.Professor ZHOUidentfesthecorepathogenesisofVMCastheobstructionbypathogenictoxins，obstructionofyangqi，rebellionof the qimechanism，andblockageoftheheartmeridians.Pathogenictoxinsinitiallydamage defensiveyang，impairingtheqi transformationofthesanjiao.Thisimpedesthepropertransformationoffluidsandblood，leadingtothegenerationofturbid pathogenssuchasphlegmandbloodstasis.Thestagnationofturbidyinfurtherexacerbatestheobstructionofyang qi， formingaviciouscycleof"yangdepresion-turbidstagnation”thatmanifestsclinicallyasheartheat.Theclinicalaproach involvesapplyingthemethodofactivatingyanganddispelingturbidity，followingtheprincipleoftailringformulastospecific patterns.Thismethodworksbyactivatingyangtoeliminatepathogensandremovetoxins，whiletransforming bloodstasisand resolvingphlegmtodispelturbidity，therebyrestoringtheyin-yangbalancetoachievethetherapeuticgoal.Clasicformulas suchasZhishiXiebai Guizhi DecoctionandGuizhi Gancao Longu MuliDecoction，whenmodifiedwithappropriateaditional herbs，produceconsistentlyfavorableclinicaloutcomes.Thispaper highlightsProfessorZHOUYabin'sclinical experiencein managing the chronic phase of VMC and presents one verified medical case.
