[Abstract]Bone tissueremodeling during bone injuryrecovery isa well-regulated dynamic process，ofwhich the prominentroleofimmune balanceonbonehomeostasis is increasinglyunderstood.Among thevarious immunecels，-helper17cells（Th17）andregulatoryTcells （Treg）haveatractedconsiderableattentionbecauseoftheircontradictive roles ininflammatoryresponseandbonehomeostasis.TheimbalanceoftheTh17/Tregcellbalanceis closelyassociatedwith va-rious bone metabolismdisorders，andregulatingthis balance mayprovidenovelstrategies forboneinjuryrepair.Thus， this review focusesonthebalancebetween Th17andTreg inboneremodeling and their impactsonoraland maxillofacial damage recovery.
