[Abstract]Theprevailingapproach fortreating endodontic periapical diseases inmaturepermanentteeth is basedon rootcanaltherapy.This method is technicallydemandingandrequires optimalpatientcompliancebecause itcarries aninherentriskof postoperativestructuraldamage，rootfracture，andreinfection.Areviewoftheliteratureonregenerative endodontic procedures fortreatingperiapicaldiseases inmaturepermanentteeth indicates that theapproach isexpectedto alleviate clinicalsymptoms，restoresensoryresponses，andthedefensivefunctionsofatoothwhileallwing forthepreservationofthetoothforanextendedperiodinaphysiologicalstate.Thisarticlepresentsareviewoftheclinicalappications ofregenerative endodontic procedures for mature permanent teeth in recent years.
