[Abstract]Withtheirdvantagessuchasaesthetics,wearresistance,corrosionresistance,andexcelentbiocompatibility,glass-ceramicsareftenusedinclinicalsetingsforveneers,inlays,orfullcoveragecrowns.Thelong-termrstorativeefctivenessofglass-ceramicprosthesesisofteninfluencedbyvariousfactors,incudingexcessiveoclusalforces, poorsealingbetween therestorationandabutmenttoth,andvariouscontaminants encountered during bonding.These factorscansignificantlyafectthe lifespanoftheprosthesis.Manyscholars investigated diferent cleaningmethods for glass-ceramic prosthesescontaminated withsalivaand discovered theirvarying efectsonrestoring bonding strength. This article presentsacomprehensivereviewofthesefindings,whichhave guding significance forclinicalapplications.
