Development of a Ship Profile Nesting Program Based on AM Software

Abstract：To address the issues of low efficiencyand insufficient accuracycaused by traditional manual operations in ship profile nesting，an automated and intelligent ship profile nesting program is developed in this study based onAM software and genetic algorithms.The program automates data import， nestingcalculations，and result output，featuring visualizationcapabilities that significantly enhance nesting eficiencyand accuracy.With a userfriendly interface and interactive design，itimproves operational convenience.This program demonstrates significant advantages and potential in enhancing nesting eficiency，reducing production costs，and boosting enterprise competitiveness.
