Study on Soil Physical Properties of Three Typical Standsin Yizhou NationalForest Park

AbstractTo investigate the soil physicalproperties and water conservation capacityof natural broad-leaved mixed forests in Yizhou National Forest Park,the three typical stands in Yunmeng Mountain were selected as the research subjects and comparative analysis of soil physical properties was conducted. The results showed that the average soil bulk density of forest stands from high to low was Pinus tabuliformis pure forest (1.21g⋅cm-3 ),Populus-Ulmus mixed forest (1.09g⋅cm-3 ),Betula-Quercus mixed forest (0.91g⋅cm-3 ).The mean value of total soil porosity from high to low was Betula-Quercus mixed forest 53.39% ),Pinus tabuliformis pure forest (52.01% ),Populus - Ulmus mixed forest (51.36% );the maximum water holding rate of soil and the mean value of soil capillary water holding rate showed the same size relationship,from high to low was Betula - Quercus mixed forest, 1 mus mixed forest,Pinus tabuliformis pure forest. Significant diferences in soil physical property indexes were observed among different forest stands and soil layers.
