Analysis of Sand Control Effect of Bio-based Degradable Sandbag Grid Sand Barrier

AbstractInorder tounderstandthecomprehensive sand control benefitsof thenewsandcontrol materialbio-based de gradable fibersandbag sand barier,the underlying surface changes afterthe sand barrer was laid,the near-surface windproof effect,the vegetation restoration in the barier area and the layingcost were comprehensivelyanalyzed.The results showedas thefollowing four aspects.1)Thelayingofbio-based degradable fiber sandbag sand barriercould increase the roughness of the underlying surface. In the barrier areas with specifications of 1. 0m× 1. 0m,1. 5m× 1. 5m and 2 .0m×2.0m ,respectively,the surface roughness was negatively correlated with the size of the sand barrier,that was,with the increaseof thesizeof thesand barrer,thesurface roughness showedadownward trend.2)The layingof biobased degradable fibersandbag sandbarriercould efectivelyreducethenear-surface wind sped.Withtheincreaseof thesand barier specifications,the efectof reducing thesurface wind speed was weakened.The sandbarrier specifications with decreasing values from large to small were 1.0m×1.0m,1.5m×1.5m,2.0m×2.0m ,There was no significant difference between 1.0m×1.0m and 1.5m×1.5m ,while the difference between 2.0m×2.0m and 1. 0m× 1. 0m , 1.5m×1.5m was significant.3) The laying of bio-based degradable fiber sandbag sand barier hada good role in promoting vegetation restoration.4)Thecostof bio-based degradablefibersandbag material was 2-3 times higher than thatof traditional Salix cheilophila,wheat straw,rice straw and other sand control materials,but the laying eficiency was 2-4 (20 times that of other materials,which could save labor costs by 40%-75% .Under the trend of decreasing material cost in the future andthe advantages oflight weight,nvironmental protectionand simple laying process,thenewsand controlma
terial hashighpromotionvalue.
