Construction of a care program for elderly colorectal cancer stoma patients based on Swanson's care theory

Abstract  Objective：To construct a care program for elderly colorectal cancer stoma patients based on Swanson's care theory.Methods：Using Swanson's theory of care as a guide，literature review and qualitative research were used to develop the first draft of a care program for elderly colorectal cancer patients with stoma.The program was revised and improved through Delphi's expert correspondence.The final draft was formed.Results：Two rounds of expert inquiry were conducted with 24 experts，and the questionnaire response rates were both 100%；The expert authority coefficient were all 0.95；The Kendall coefficients for the importance of secondary and tertiary indicators in the first round were 0.326，0.328.And in the second round，they were 0.336，0.335（both P<0.01），and the coefficients of variation were 0.00⁃0.26，0.00⁃0.19.Finally，the care program for elderly colorectal cancer stoma patients was formed，which included 5 primary indicators（the 5 steps of Swanson's caring theory），11 secondary indicators，and 31 tertiary indicators.Conclusion：The care program for elderly colorectal cancer stoma patients has good scientific，feasibility and practicality.It can provide clinical theoretical basis and practical direction.
