Abstract  Objectives：To develop a self⁃management scale for patients with breast cancer⁃related lymphedema，and to conduct reliability and validity test.Methods：Through literature analysis and expert letter consultation，the initial version of the scale was formed.A questionnaire survey was conducted on 340 patients with breast cancer⁃related lymphedema from two tertiary grade A hospitals in Henan province to test the reliability and to validity and to form the final scale.Results：The formal scale included three dimensions，disease management，daily life management and psychosocial management，with 32 items.The content validity index was 0.981，and the KMO value of the structure validity was 0.878.Three common factors were extracted，and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 83.945%.The Cronbach's α coefficient of the total volume table was 0.920，and the broken half reliability was 0.935.Conclusions：The self⁃management scale for patients with breast cancer⁃related lymphedema is reasonable，reliable and valid.And it can be used as an assessment tool for the self⁃management level of patients with breast cancer⁃related lymphedema.
