Abstract：The9thAsian Winter Games，aninternational winter sports event heldinHarbin，China，left rich materialand spiritual heritage upon itssuccessful conclusion.By exploring the connotationof the spirit of the HarbinAsian WinterGames，itis found tomainlyincludethespiritofhard work，innovationand breakthrough， unityandcoperation，and selfless dedication，whichhas become the promotionoftheChinese sports spirit inthe newera.Integrating the spirit ofthe HarbinAsian Winter Games into the ideologicalandpolitical educationof collge studentscanbeachievedbyleveraginggold medal honors toevokeasenseofnationalself-improvement， ingenious creation to strengthencultural confidence，and concerted efforts to enhance spiritual cohesion.For theimplementationof thespirit of the Harbin Asian Winter Games in ideologicaland political education for college students，this paper proposes paths such as accurately grasping the spiritual core and deeply integrating
it into the first classroom；innovating the forms of ideological and political practice to effectively expand the second classroom;and giving play to theadvantages ofcyberspace to comprehensively stimulate ideological momentum.By fully unleashing the educational effectiveness of the spirit of the Harbin AsianWinterGamesinthefieldofideologicaland political education，the one-way indoctrination mode
oftraditionalideologicalandpoliticalclassroomscanbebroken，soas toguidecollge studentstoshapecorrect worldoutlooks，outlookson life，andvalues，andcontinuouslystrengthen theirideological identificationwiththe country’s future cause and development.
