Abstract：As amember of the ubiquitin-specific protease （USP）family，ubiquitin-specific protease 44（USP44）playsa significantroleinthedevelopmentandprogressionofmalignanttumorsthroughitsdeubiquitinatingactivity.Inrecent years，the molecular structureof USP44 and its regulatory mechanisms in various malignancies have been gradually elucidatedHowever，thediferential expressonofUSP44indiferentmalignant tumors，itsroleinearlycancersreening， anditsrelationshipithanerprogressionandprognosisstillacksystematicsummarzation.Tiseviewwillsystemtically describe the molecularstructureand biological functionsof USP44，aswellas itsregulatory mechanisms in tumorigenesis and development.Itfurtherdelves intotheroleofUSP44 inclinicaldiagnosisandtreatment.Alsothecurrentlimitations inresearchareanalysedand prospectsaremadeforfuture studieson USP44，aiming to offer newtargets andinsights for targeted therapy of malignant tumors.
